Every project begins as a question and ends as an instrument — a model, a product, a prototype, or a piece of writing precise enough to be argued with.
The subjects change. The method does not: study the system, find where it strains, and build the smallest useful thing that relieves it.

ALSIRK is directed by Ayub Abdul Hussain, working independently across research, product and systems design. The practice moves between healthcare, motorsport, information systems and natural systems, treating each as a variation on the same underlying problem.
The output is deliberately mixed — products, instruments, models and writing — held to one standard: it should be clear enough to be understood and useful enough to be used.
